Meet our Care Consultant Robin
Robin has been working in our Care team for over a year now, the perfect time to talk about his job and his job satisfaction. We met up with Robin for a short interview. The conclusion? If you are a fan of the philosophy “Work hard, play hard”, then Drink-IT is the perfect place for you.
Robin, could you tell us what your daily tasks are?
My main task is supporting our customers. This usually involves answering and follow up the incoming tickets of customer questions. But there is a lot more to it. The Care team is also involved in testings, we help out in current projects and we are responsible for the associated administration. It is a job with a lot of variety and responsibility. And once you have gained experience and have been trained, you can also provide training.
Sounds great! What does your average day look like?
I usually start and stop my day by dealing with customer issues. Of course, we first tackle the high priority cases and follow them up. Then we monitor certain customers to see if everything runs smoothly. In the meantime, we also answer calls and test the solutions provided by our technical colleagues for any issues. We first do this in our Drink-IT environment, before it’s rolled out at the customer. Afterwards, we check whether the problem at the customer has effectively been resolved and close that administration file. We do not work separately, but we work as a team to provide solutions as quick as possible.
Are there new things in the pipeline?
There is currently a project ongoing whether we can use a "Hero" in future projects. This way larger customers would get a dedicated contact person, a development I can only applaud.
What do you love about your job?
The variety! It is a combination of own initiative and teamwork. Besides, I feel a lot of trust within the company and we really listen to each other’s feedback. This is great because you can give direction to the company. The training options are also a big advantage. We make a growth plan together which you can complete at your own pace. For example, there is a strong commitment to obtaining our Microsoft Certificates, which is a nice asset to hold.
What qualities do new employees need to have?
First of all the drive to work is very important but also team spirit is essential. It helps if you have a sense of humour since we love to have fun at Drink-IT.
Finally, can you also share your opinion about Drink-IT as an employer?
We grow incredibly fast, which means that you are constantly challenged. You have to think along and work hard, but a lot of attention is paid to activities outside of work and there is a very open atmosphere. "Work hard, play hard" really is a philosophy here, sometimes very literal, like during a fun game night. I have been working here for a year now and I feel at home! I am still very happy with the choice I made back then.
